Building your social media empire is critical to your success online. When you first get started it can seem like a massive undertaking.
You look up to your ideals of who you want to be like and achieve their kind of success but trying to get there seems like an impossible one.
Just remember they where once right where you are right now, most likely thinking the same thoughts you have. It’s important to know this can be done and will build and grow over time.
While this blog post wont go into great detail into each social media market a new product I am working on will. But this will get your feet moving in the right direction to get you geared up for this powerful program that is to come.
What social media networks should you work on building?
This really comes down to both preference but more importantly where you audience hangs out and interacts the most.
By figuring this out you can quickly determine where you will get the most response on the ads you run and also the interaction from the raving followers you build.
The most popular networks for myself are Facebook and Twitter, backed up with Linkedin, Youtube and Google +
You will find that the content you build can most likely be easily shared on other networks as well.
For example doing a Facebook live you could record it and put it up on Youtube for extra exposure.
How can I build my following when I first get started ?
You need to understand this is going to take time, very well the first few days of doing this you might end up with now followers or interaction at all. But its important that when that first interaction comes in you follow up with that person by commenting them back and interacting with them a bit.
This shows you are active in the community and people will be drawn to this.
A few tips for growing your initial following
1) I never recommend paying for followers etc. While the numbers might look good you will quickly see these followers are either bots or even worse people they care nothing about what you have to offer and say.
3) Post often but keep it on target to your audiance you are trying to attract.
Example: Giving away stuff for free will attract a bunch of freebie seekers, offer a discount on a product will bring in buyers
4) Build your email list! I can’t stress this enough. Even if you are first starting out spend the few bucks for a quality autoresonder such as Aweber and build your list to sell your own products and services or recommend others as an affiliate. Just remember to provide only the highest quality content, products and services to build trust.
These quick tips will get you moving in the right direction to building your own social media empire. Within a few weeks I will be launching a main core product around this.
