Building a prelaunch list is what many top marketers do. It is a quick way to get your product out there in front of the eyes of thousands in exchange for higher commissions and first promotion rights to your product.

What is a JV?

JV stands for Joint Venture, it is a list of prelaunch subscribers you invite to promote your product or service on launch day. These JV members are able to login and view the site before launch day to see what it is all about. They often times are offered higher commissions than what any other members will get. This is because you are looking for them to promote you and your product to their list which will build your list and produce more sales.

What is the best way to get JV members?

Your best bet to picking up a new JV member is by taking a look at other site owners and seeing what their site offers. Your ideal JV partner is one in which your product or services does not directly compete with their site but instead would benefit it and their members.

A simple example of this would be you offer a service that does SEO (Search Engine Optimization) work. Owner “A” has a web site of an ebook that teaches you how to blog. The most important thing about blogging is having a strong SEO background to it. Your service would be a benefit to the already existing buyers of owners “A” ebook.

Another important step to take is to first help out the person you are wanting to JV with. Order their product, offer a review after you test the product, promote their product and land some sales with them. This will increase your chances of sticking out and improve your chances of them wanting to take the time out to promote you.
